Easter Sunday Pics

I don't do enough pictures of my personal life, so I thought I'd share a couple with you from Easter Sunday. I hope you enjoy!

My friends (clockwise from left, Bridget, Sarah, Michelle and Monica)(I 'm in the middle)

My friend, Monica and me

My friend, Bridget, myself and other friend, Monica

Unfortunately, we did not take pictures BEFORE the mass glitter/confetti attack happened. That's why we're all shiny and full of glitter. This happens every year...and every year I say, I'm going to stop trying to dress cute and wear protective gear to shield myself from the glitter toting children....it NEVER happens.

Overall, we had a great time. I didn't even want to leave that night....a little too much Sangria if you ask me :)

I hope you all had a fantastic Easter weekend.

Shop Feature and Giveaway

I am SUPER pleased to introduce you to my good friend, Brianna Dale. She is the cute, spunky and funny doll from Bre's Baubles Vintage and Baubles, Accoutrements and Garb blog. Please keep reading after interview for the giveaway details!

Let's get to know her a little better...

Q. Tell us a little about yourself
My name is Brianna and I love pretty things! I’m a small town girl with
a big love for Fashion/ Beauty and Interior Design. I work as an Interior
Designer and as the Owner of Baubles, Accoutrements and Garb
Blog and Bres’ Baubles Vintage on Etsy.

I am addicted to thrifting/ treasure hunting and collecting/ selling
vintage. My husband is terrified of my vintage "hoarding". When I see
a Goodwill and ask to stop, I hear a huge sigh roll out! But, that
won't deter me! This is my calling!! I adore lazy Saturdays and love
to spend hours on Facebook and Twitter entering sweeps!

I post a "What I Wore" series on the blog. See images below. I just
started a new series called "Your Style" so that my readers can send
in their looks and be featured. I am looking for volunteers right now
to be featured.

Q. Why vintage?
A. Vintage has always been a part of my dressing up life. I loved to
go to yardsales when I was a child and wear my mom's, grandma's and
aunt's old clothing! I never cared what was "in style" as much as what
was appealing to me. I was always different and always challenging the
rules when it came to fashion and that's why I incorporate so much
vintage into my wardrobe today. Most of the time, I find pieces that
are so unique- I literally won't run into anyone on the street or in
the office wearing the same thing. It makes me look and feel more like
myself.

Q. What is your favorite era and why?
A. My favorite era has ALWAYS been 70's because I have felt that I was
supposed to live during that time. I can see myself - a flower child, dancing
through fields of flowers and braiding hair....hahaha. But, seriously - I love
the prints and colors. The past couple of years, I adore wearing 60s style
vintage. I love the femininity and embracing curves as a woman.

Q. Any advice to newbies starting to collect vintage?
A. My advice would be: 1. Don't grab something just because it's old..
it doesn't mean it's valuable. 2. Collect with your heart. If something is dying for you to take it home- do it!!

Please share 3 of your favorite items in your shop right now:

80's does 50's Blue & White Striped Dress

80's does 50's Blue & White Floral Day Dress

Red & Black Secretary Style Dress
Isn't she the cutest? She's a hoot to talk to and she keeps me company during the day while we both list new items in our Etsy shops. I love my vintie friends!

Ok, now for the giveaway that Brianna is sponsoring. Check out the picture for the many cool things she's putting together for this Spring time giveaway!

New Pretties

Hi loves!

Have you checked out the shop lately? I've added lots of goodies, PLUS added the 50% off section! Lots of people have already taken advantage of it.

Here are a couple of pics of the new stuff in the shop:

60's Pink Heels

60's Silk Heels

60's Gold Polka Dot Heels

60's Black & White Heels

These are a tease...I'm debating on keeping them for myself ;)

A little background to these lovely shoes.  Do you remember Anna Nicole Smith marrying a older gentleman named J. Howard Marshall?  Well.....these are from his wife previous to Anna Nicole.

My best friend's hubby used to work for J. Howard Marshall (now works for his grandson). They were gifted to my friend and she had forgotten she had them until a couple of weeks ago! I am one lucky lady to have such great friends.

Also, stayed tuned in tomorrow. We're having a Springtime giveaway hosted by our great friend, Bre, from:

Have a great day!

xoxo
